Public workshops serve as a way for CTDOT to explain this study to riders and other interested parties. They are also a way for CTDOT to hear the opinions of residents, businesses, and elected officials. Using a virtual public workshop allows you to get involved when it is convenient for your schedule, rather than at a pre-determined time.
A virtual public workshop is a webpage that includes information about the transportation study with an added bonus: the public is able to participate directly online from the comfort and convenience of their personal mobile or desktop devices. Comments from the public will be accepted during the two weeks while the workshop is open. Virtual public workshops are scheduled for summer and fall 2016.
To sign up for notifications and study updates including the virtual public workshops, complete the form in the Contact Us page and your contact information will be added to the study’s mailing list.
